Assisted Living Nursing Homes?

What’s the difference between assisted living and nursing homes?

Assisted living is for those that are still able to take care of themselves but need assistance in remembering meds, or to bathe.

Nursing Homes are for those that are in poorer condition, needs help getting dressed, bathed, fed, walking, communicating, experience incontinence of bowel and bladder, need mechanical assistance to be lifted, toileted, or put in a wheel chair.
