How can I become a physicians assistant?

I’m currently a sophmore at college..so I clearly have a long ways to go.
But I want to be on the right track, what should i be studing as far as associates degree’s
And then bachelor’s? Is it possible to have your bachelor’s in physicians assisting or is the training only after getting a bachelor’s degree? I live in washington…Am willing to go to oregon for college. (Unlikely I can afford University of Washington…which according to atleast one website- UW is the only college in washington to offer physicians assisting.) Do i need medical experience before I can begin a physicians assisting program? What is the best medical position that will help me get into a program?

Alot of questions within one question..
Basicly- what is the best path to achieve this goal?
