Legal Knife Age in PA?

I am under 18 years old and I live in Pennsylvania. Is there any possible way that I could legally carry a knife? Size? Opening Mechanism (Switch, Assisted, ect..)? Thanks!

Pennsylvania has very lenient laws about knives. Basically, all knives are legal (no age limit, no length limit) except for switchblades. Unlike most states, the switchblade ban in PA is rather vague and simply states that the blade “opens in an automatic way” so I think that could be applied to assisted opening knives too. Butterfly knives are legal though.

Be wary of city laws! In Philadelphia for example ALL knives are illegal to carry except for work purposes that can be proven in court. So be sure you check your local county and city laws.
