Assisted Living facility association
I’m really bored with life. Can you help?
I just got a job volunteering at a local independant/assisted/medicare living facility (about one day a week) and applied to see if I could help with outings for a local association for retarted citizens. I would really love to do some things like skydiving and such. I’m only 14 and I live near the tri-state are of NY, NJ, and Penn. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Also, what do you do to get that adrenalyn (sp?) rush?
I do karate. I have all A’s. I think I may be focusing TOO much on school. I’m obsessed with it. The summer is coming up. I’d even like to tandem skydive, but that you need to be 18 to do as well.
I’ve done…. it wasn’t bungee jumping, but it was something very similar. There was a 100- something foot drop, 50 feet of which were freefall.
they have simulated flight machines where you feel weightless at some theme parks. i saw it on america’s next top model and on the ellen show.

The personal assistance provided at assisted living facilities ensure that the dignity and self-respect of the occupants are upheld and that they get ample opportunities to socialize, make friends, and also keep in touch with their family. The assistance can be either routine or intensive. The personal assistants are trained to be mindful of the requirements and values of senior citizen.
