Temp. when baking 2 pies?
I am baking 2 pies that call for different oven temps. and baking times. The diabetic pecan pie call for a 375 oven temp. but the diabetic pump. pie calls for a 350 oven temp. I need to bake these pies at the same time. Can I use the lower temp and just bake the pecan pie a bit longer or will that cause it to not turn out right. I’m new at this and I am using this tonight as an evening activity at my Assisted Living place. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks
Yes you can bake both at the same time and at 350F. Yes, you would have to increase the bake time for the pecan pie. But, once you remove the pumpkin pie, you can increase the temp for the remainder of the baking time for the pecan. It will be fine. Hope this helps
