Ideas for Assisted Living Activities?
I’m putting together a monthly calendar/newsletter at the assisted living home I work at. There’s only a small number of just woman who live there and I want different activities every month. Not all are as mobile as the others but I want to keep the activities different and some the same, games, trivia, things they can do every week that keep them busy and active. I just want some ideas that you may be using or just opinions and ideas in gereral. All thoughts are welcome and thank you in advance.
Have local community representatives come in and give presentations or something. Maybe local choirs to sing for them, comedians, trips to the mall, walks in the local park, board games, tournaments for board games or light physical activites etc. That’s all I can think of. Hope it helps!

The assistance can be either routine or intensive. The personal assistants are trained to be mindful of the requirements and values of senior citizen.
